Description:
This base build renovation for Global Television and integrated fitout for Fox Sports, includes 3 studios, office accommodation and associated technical support areas. The new facilities were built within the shell of an existing industrial building. THA have a long association with the site (previously owned by Channel 7) and were involved with feasibility studies to assess the viability to accommodate Fox Sports.
The project includes 820sq.m of studios (2 broadcast studios, 1 virtual studio), control rooms, edit suites, sound booth, dressing room and green rooms.
The project features a two storey light filled void that acts as the main circulation within the facilities. Production areas on the ground are over looked by the mezzanine office areas, break out and board room.
