Royal Australian Navy Sailing Association, Rushcutters Bay

Renovation of Clubroom and kitchen within an existing heritage shed. The boatshed is located within the Rushcutters Bay Marine Reserve and despite its utilitarian function has significant architectural and technological integrity.

The project includes interior design of the Rushcutter Room and replacement of the kitchen facilities to allow the club the host functions, events and training for up 150 people. Finishes have been chosen to preserve the character of the existing shed and create a comtemporary marine feel. Works included new insulation and ventilation to improve comfort and noise issues with the club.
